Project Manager

Orion is working with one of the UK's leading specialists in the design and manufacture of bespoke Test and assembly systems in various industries. They have over 25 years of industry experience, with aerospace expertise.

Due to continued growth, the company is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team.

Job Overview:

The company is looking for a skilled Engineer for a hybrid role combining project management and systems engineering. Responsibilities include leading technical projects, ensuring system designs meet quality and client standards, and collaborating across teams and stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities of the Project Manager:

• Lead and manage technical engineering projects from conception through delivery.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external clients to ensure project objectives are achieved.
• Oversee system design, integration, and implementation processes.
• Ensure systems meet technical specifications, performance standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct system analysis, risk assessments, and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues.
• Prepare system documentation, including system requirements, design specifications, and testing plans.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams such as R&;D, production, and quality assurance to ensure seamless project execution.

Requirements for the Project Manager:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in systems engineering and project management.
• Proven experience in technically leading complex engineering projects..
• Good understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics design.
• Ability to create technical documentation, including system diagrams and reports.
• Full right to work in the UK, no VISA requirements.
