Project Lead Engineer | Space Science | Essex
 
At the forefront of technological innovation, our client is a global leader with a stellar reputation, specialising in the development of cutting-edge. As a project engineer, you will be pushing boundaries in the development of cutting-edge products for space sectors.
 
You will need to come from a multidisciplinary or System Engineering background to be able to oversee a variety of engineering inputs to the projects, providing technical direction to engineering projects on complex space systems.
 
Role / Responsibilities:

Deliver technical leadership and direction to the project team
Gather requirements and build detailed plans
Support throughout the project lifecycle with engineering governance and Engineering Management Plans
Identify risks and opportunities and manage them accordingly
Contribute to bidding activity
Configuration control – product and project 
Skills / Experience:

Wide-ranging knowledge across multiple engineering disciplines
Experience within a System Engineering function
Degree in Electronics, Mechanical or related engineering discipline.
Strong stakeholder management
Technical documentation experience
