TEAM JOBS is looking for an experienced and detail-orientedProject Engineerto manage and streamline the technical documentation process. Role involves managing and overseeing the creation, review, and distribution of technical documents or manuals related to a project.
Your duty will be working on complex aerospace engineering projects, receive and assess requests from Customers/OEMs/Programs
Training Period:Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, for 6 weeks.
Post-Training:3 days a week(hours to be agreed upon)
Pay Rate:£35- £45 p/h (depending on experience)
Duration: 6m with possibility to extend
Key Responsibilities:
Customer and OEM Interaction:
- Receive and assess requests from Customers/OEMs/Programs.
- Collate requirements and prepare proposal templates for approval and execution.
Supplier Coordination:
- Share requirements with technical publication suppliers (Hemel or Sonovision).
- Review quotes received from suppliers and ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Release Purchase Orders (POs) to suppliers after internal review and approval.
Technical publication:
- These publications ensure that all stakeholders, including engineers, technicians, end-users, and regulatory bodies, have access to accurate and com
Skills which are required following above duties:
- Experience of working within a project engineering environment or degree in mechanical engineering/aerospace.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written and understanding of aerospace terminology.
- Experience of using Microsoft project or similar project forecasting system.
- Understanding and experience of working with suppliers and integrated supply chains.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Documentation, or a related field.
