An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Engineer - Defence/Aerospace to join this Reading based Designer & Manufacturer of control panels, displays and fully integrated systems for various industries including Military, Automotive, Aerospace and Industrial.The role of Project Engineer - Defence/Aerospace will be based in Reading and the ideal candidate will have a Mechanical Engineering background.The role will work closely with the Mechanical and Electronics engineers in planning, executing and managing a range of simple, medium and complex projects through to completion, within given timescales, managing milestones and budgets. This is a hands on role that would frequently require mechanical design work.Requirements of a Project Engineer - Defence/Aerospace- A degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or designing electro mechanical systems- Working in a team and managing multiple projects at once- Preparing, planning and tracking projects- Identifying risks and implementing risk management strategies- Having an awareness of MTBF calculations and reliability prediction calculations- Experience of using AutoCAD inventor software or similar software- Prince 2 qualified- Baseline security clearance requiredBenefits Package of a Project Engineer - Defence/Aerospace- Salary of £40,000-£45,000 per annum- 25 Days annual leave- Contributory Pension Scheme- Private HealthcareThis is an exciting job o...
