Job Description:
The Project Accountant will join the Hinkley Point team, providing financial support for the project and assisting the wider finance team. Reporting to the Finance Business Partner – DPD, the role will involve forecasting, budgeting, and providing detailed financial analysis. The Project Accountant will ensure the preparation and analysis of monthly accounts, including variance reporting and balance sheet reconciliations. This role requires expertise in project accounting, financial reporting, and compliance with both UK and US GAAP.

Skills & Experience:

Proven experience as a Project Accountant in manufacturing, engineering, or construction

*

Strong experience in managing costs and variances

*

Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and US GAAP is advantageous

*

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

*

Strong IT skills, particularly with ERP systems and Excel

*

ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent
