At this level, a Programme Planner - Technical Engineering is responsible for applying schedule management independently, primarily in complex situations across P3M. Preparing and maintaining integrated schedules of programme and/or project activities and events, taking into account dependencies and resource requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules that detail tasks, milestones, and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on-site and other relevant professionals.
  • Monitor Project Management Timelines and adjust plans as necessary to ensure timely completion.
  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend the right strategies for cost reduction.
  • Work in close partnership with the Project Director or Project Manager to strategically plan and schedule major projects using your preferred planning program.
  • Keep meticulous records of project resources, changes, labour, and expenses, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.

Qualifications

  • Project Management qualification or certification.
  • Experience in maritime, automotive, aerospace sectors.

Essential Skills

  • Manufacturing Process Coordinator – Familiar with production workflows, documentation, and quality assurance.
  • Document Controller – Experience managing and controlling engineering documentation.
  • Experience in Microsoft Project/Teamwork/equivalent planning software.
