Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
Experience with data infrastructure and pipelines (acquisition, processing, sessionizing, access and visualization)
Experience driving elements of the product development life-cycle such as product goal, go-to-market strategy, driving requirements, and product launch.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with SQL and data analysis.
Experience with data platforms and pipelines.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and driving organizational alignment.

As the Product Manager (PM) for Telemetry, you will be at the forefront of Android's ability to be the most data driven OS in the world.
You will define how we leverage data and insights to improve the Android OS. You will create the roadmap for our analytics platform to help product teams understand how their features are used and measure their impact on the overall quality of Android. You will be working with engineers, data scientists and product managers to help make data driven decisions.

Responsibilities
Lead Android's product analytics efforts and provide thought leadership for Android in the areas of data, insights and governance.
Conduct in-depth search into various areas of analytics.
Develop the goal, strategy, and roadmap for Android's data analytics platform.
Collaborate with cross-functional (XFN) teams to understand their goals and align the strategy to achieve them.
Represent the Telemetry team in executive and partner presentations, communicate the team's work and impact via newsletters and regular updates.
