Our client are seeking for Senior and Principal Stress Engineers to join their growing Mechanical Analysis Group to support the development of a next-generation complex weapon platform. About the Role
Due to increased workload, they are expanding their team of structural analysis specialists. You will lead and deliver critical structural and thermal performance analysis throughout the product lifecycle – from early-stage concept studies through to detailed design, manufacture, and in-service support.
Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams, you will apply a wide range of engineering analysis techniques to develop, validate, and support robust mechanical solutions for our military systems.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, estimation, and delivery of structural analysis work packages.
Conduct both classical hand calculations and advanced CAE modelling (e.g. Static, Dynamic, Fatigue, Aeroelastics, Non-Linear, Impact, Kinematics).
Prepare and present clear, comprehensive technical reports for a variety of stakeholders.
Contribute to qualification and design testing, fault investigation, and loads derivation.
Mentor junior engineers, fostering technical development and knowledge sharing.
Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of methods, tools, and processes.About you

Hold a degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or a related engineering discipline – or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated experience leading structural analysis tasks across multiple projects.
Strong capability with CAE tools
Ability to communicate complex technical findings clearly to varied audiences.

Salary: Salary Up to £60K DOE + Great Benefits including Hybrid working,  Bonus, Flexi leave, Paid Overtime, Pension contribution of up to 14% & much More
