Project Kuiper Consumer vision is to bring high-speed connectivity to any households, globally. We are doing this by launching a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to customers around the world. Project Kuiper is looking for a customer obsessed, analytical individual to lead our European B2C Traffic and Performance Marketing team. Your core goal will be to drive web site traffic, maximize sales and improve customer experience. You will build, test, automate and scale performance marketing initiatives across traffic channels. This is a unique opportunity to build and run the marketing setup for an exciting new technology for our customers. As we are a new business, you will own creation of target customer cohorts, setup of traffic channels and implementation of channel strategy. You will leverage customer research and data, and partner with sales and creative teams to construct targeted tests around the most relevant channel strategy for each cohort. Additionally, you will innovate to raise the bar on our testing knowledge base across a range of channels, including the Kuiper Website, Amazon homepage, search and other online channels.

We are looking for someone data-driven with a relentless focus on delighting customers and improving return on investment (ROI). The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is comfortable managing a wide range of marketing channels with expertise in paid search, search engine optimization (SEO), associates, social, and email, as well as Amazon owned and operated marketing channels such as product pages, the Amazon homepage, push notifications, and onsite search. In this role, you will work with a range of technical and non-technical teams to build automated marketing technology, assess marketing capabilities, own the experimentation strategy, and undertake detailed performance analysis. The scope of this role focuses on delivering against key business goals, while also innovating and finding efficiencies through the development and management of a multi-year strategy and roadmap.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Lead the strategy, design, and execution of all local performance marketing campaigns and ongoing management of all traffic channels for Project Kuiper's B2C business in Europe.
  2. Optimize subscriber acquisition across paid search, SEO, associates, social, digital channels, and email as well as owned channels such as product pages, the Amazon homepage, email, and onsite search.
  3. Invent and build customer-centric solutions to improve variable marketing performance and optimize the ROI of a multi-million-dollar budget, while setting high standards and eliminating campaign defects.
  4. Apply deep and wide functional expertise to develop channel strategies and testing/experimentation plans.
  5. Conduct detailed campaign and channel performance analysis, leveraging data to optimize strategies, refine targeting, and improve ROI across all performance marketing initiatives. Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting frameworks to track KPIs and present actionable insights and enable data-informed decision-making.
  6. Champion automation, attribution measurement and scaled solutions, by influencing prioritization in tech roadmaps.
  7. Develop, train and manage a team of highly skilled functional experts to ensure that you and your team set a high bar on the customer experience, campaign optimization, financial controllership and policy adherence.
  8. Stay current with industry and Amazon best-practices to define and execute an innovation roadmap to delight customers and drive efficiencies throughout your area.

This position may require access to information, technology, or hardware that is subject to export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Employment in this position is contingent upon obtaining any required export licenses or other approvals from the United States government. As such, the successful candidate must be eligible to obtain any necessary export licenses or approvals based on their nationality, citizenship, and any other factors considered by the applicable export control regulations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams.
  2. Experience in marketing or marketing research.
  3. Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements.
  4. Experience in developing and implementing lower funnel marketing strategies.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Experience with creating GTM initiatives at scale.
  2. Experience working cross-functionally across marketing, product management, analytics, UX, and research.
  3. Extensive experience in technology, media, or telecommunications; satellite internet; or subscription services.
