Job Title:Principal Commissioning Engineer-Electrical (Propulsion)

What you’ll be doing:

• \n
• Deputise for the relevant Commissioning Project Leader as and when required, including supervision of personnel on shift\n
• Instruct and mentor members of the team within your knowledge and competency\n
• Responsible for researching, authoring, and reviewing of design and test documentations to the required standards\n
• Liaise/Interface with relevant stakeholders i.e. Engineering, Royal Navy, MoD, and Build Operations to ensure activities are undertaken in a safe and compliant manner\n
• Keep full and accurate records of work activities carried out as required by policy, procedure, and legislation\n
• Represent the company on Factory Acceptance Tests and offsite test facilities, Contractors Sea Trials and other outworking requirements (with scope for overseas travel)\n

Your Skills and Experience:

• \n
• Experience leading of complex Commissioning trials and experience of test groups\n
• Degree/HNC/HND in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience\n
• Knowledge of AC and DC Electrical Generation and Power distribution systems\n
