Are you a skilled Panel Wirer with experience in the aerospace and defence industry? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! This company is currently seeking a talented Panel Wirer to join their dynamic team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

The Panel Wirer Role

As a Panel Wirer, you will be responsible for the complex cabinet/rack/box wiring using 22awg - 10awg cable/wire across Power, Data and RF functionalities. You will utilise various types of handheld crimp tools to create, route, and secure multi-cable/wire harnesses and looms. Additionally, you will be tasked with the termination of various connector types, including Multi-pin, 68999, RF, data, power, and single wires, using both crimped and soldered methods.

The Panel Wirer will also play a crucial role in the development of first-off units and cabling, working closely with engineering drawings, wiring schedules, wiring diagrams, circuit diagrams, and bespoke customer-supplied assembly information.

Key Requirements for the Panel Wirer

To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 3 years' experience in cabinet/rack/box wiring. Ideally, you will also possess IPC J-STD certification, which would be a distinct advantage. The ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings, wiring schedules, wiring diagrams, circuit diagrams, and bespoke customer-supplied assembly information is essential.
