Electrical Network Engineer
Client: BAE Systems
Location:Frimley / Weymouth / Bristol (Hybrid Working)
Duration:12 months
Hourly Rate:£39.51 PAYE or £52.13
Hybrid Working:Would prefer 2 days in the office but negotiable depending on candidate
Temp-to-Perm Opportunities:Depending on business needs and candidate performance.
Key Knowledge & Skills Requirements:
We are looking for a Senior Engineer with a strong background in electrical engineering, particularly within communications, network systems, and complex infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in at least one of the following disciplines:

  • Design and Deployment of Complex Network Solutions
  • Voice Architectures
  • Video Surveillance
  • Wireless Solutions & RF Propagation in Closed Spaces
  • Fibre Optical Cabling
  • Network Design


Desirable Standards & Regulations Knowledge:
Candidates with experience in the following standards will be highly considered:

  • Def Stan 08-107 – General Requirements for Electro-technical and Naval Weapon Equipment Design
  • BS EN 62368 – Electrical Safety Standard
  • Def Stan 59-411 – EMC Standard
  • Def Stan 61-5 – Ship's Power Supply Standards
  • Def Stan 08-123 & 00-35 – Environmental Qualification Standards
  • BR1326A – Submarine Materials Toxicity Standard
  • RoHS I & II, REACH
