As an Optics Engineer, you will contribute to the ongoing development of optical products for space and defense applications, supporting both customer-funded and internal projects.

Some responsibilities will include:

• Support the design and development of new products
  
  
• Analyse and design for optical performance, using optical and electrical simulation tools
  
  
• Oversee prototyping, assembly, testing, fault finding, and optical alignment
  
  Requirements of the Optics Engineer
  
  
• BEng or BSc in relevant Science or Engineering Degree
  
  
• Willingness to develop their technical competence and continue to learn and develop
  
  
• Experience within a similar role would be desirable
