Our client is a well-established precision engineering business with a strong reputation for quality and customer satisfaction, are looking for an Operations Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected, growing company where you can take ownership of production operations and play a key role in maintaining high standards across the business

Key Responsibilities

Act as the main point of contact for customers on enquiries, quotes, and contracts
Manage order entry and production scheduling using an MRP system (ideally Tricorn)
Lead weekly production meetings and coordinate shop floor priorities
Ensure tooling is planned and available ahead of production
Oversee maintenance schedules and respond promptly to equipment breakdowns
Monitor job costing, performance metrics, and delivery logistics
Conduct ISO audits, quality reviews, and staff appraisals
Identify and implement process improvements and capital investments

Ideal Candidate
Strong communicator with a professional, organised approach
Background in CNC manufacturing and production planning
Knowledge of ISO 9001, FAIR, and aerospace quality standards
Familiar with KPI tracking and cost control

What’s on Offer
£55,000 – £60,000 salary
4 weeks holiday (rising to 5)
8 statutory holidays
