About the team:As Lead Cloud Engineer you will jointhe Modernisation department at OSB Group and be a part of theCloud Centre of Excellence. You will work closely with multipleteams within OSB, such as the architecture review board,Engineering Teams, Cloud security team and IT operations to ensurecomprehensive coverage of requirements for the Cloud platformacross the Group. You will lead and coach a small team of CloudEngineers and report into the Group Head of Cloud. What you will be doing: As Lead CloudEngineer you will bring your experience to lead a talented team tofurther evolve their technical capabilities of OSB, driveimprovements across processes and unlock new cloud capabilities forthe group. Your responsibilities will include:Scope, design, buildand operate cloud services that multiple engineering teams can usewithin their products to help them deliver value faster, safer, andmore reliably.Develop, test, and deliver Infrastructure as code fora variety of Public Cloud compute services and Container platformsleveraging native cloud servicesSupport architects to make designchoices that will scale and be easy to operate within Cloudservices and provide guidance on security/performance/operationalconstraintsImplement, maintain, and optimize Cloud processes,tools, and security measures in Azure and multi-Cloud environmentsto support engineering teams in delivering secure, reliable andefficient products.Build and operate observability platforms tosupport logging, monitoring, alerting and telemetry services toensure reliable operation of the platform and systems consuming theplatformWith a number of exciting opportunities in this role, youwill be part of the transformation project which will create a newoperating platform for the business. Could you be the one?We are looking fortalented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set outbelow:Strong track record provisioning Infrastructure-as-Code,leveraging tools such as Terraform.Solid experience working withAzure technologies, including Azure Repos Git repository, AzurePipelines, Azure Artefact Feeds, Azure Key Vault, Azure KubernetesService (AKS), and Azure Container RegistryDemonstrable experienceof building and operating observability platforms to supportlogging, monitoring, alerting and telemetry services to ensurereliable operation of the platform and systems consuming theplatformKnowledge and experience working common scripting languagesand tools such as PowerShellSignificant experience with the corefoundational security services of Cloud providers (e.g., Azure AD,Defender for Cloud, Azure Sentinel, Application Gateway and APIManager) and knowledge of networking on cloud specifically w.r.tDNS, Firewalls, VPNsWe also believe that your career and how youprogress is as unique as your individual personality.
