Onsite Machinist

Glasgow, workshop and site based

Travelling to sites across Scotland and overseas

£30,000-£35,000 (£17p /hour) + (OTE £50k PLUS) + Monday to Friday, 40hrs + Stay Allowances + Exceptional Overtime Rates + Car/ Car Allowance + Paid Bonus' + Holiday + Pension + Life Assurance

The day to day responsibilities for this role will be to travel between company sites and perform installation of machinery and precision machining tasks on customer sites. The successful candidate will be provided initial industry and manufacturer training to get up speed and be part of an established maintenance team. This role will involve travel across Scotland and stay away from home.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Machinist, has worked with Fanuc and are an expert in milling, turning and other tooling tasks.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Engineer to enjoy plenty of variety in their day to day tasks and be part of a company who offer plenty of progression.

The Role
*Machinist/ Tooling Engineer/ Toolmaker/ Precision Engineer
*Able to perform milling, turning, boring and other machining tasks
*Involved in project improvement work
*Travelling to customer sites across Scotland and Abroad, will involve stay away from home.
*Monday to Friday, plenty of overtime opportunities

The Person
*CNC Machinist/ Programmer/ Toolmaker/ Precision Engineer/ Miller or Turner or similar background
*Able to perform milling, turning, boring and other machining tasks
*Must have Fanuc experience
