The main hub at royal london, runs a six-day service from Monday to Saturday between the hours of 08:00 - 19:00hrs.
We are looking for people with commitment to Endoscopy and Gastroenterology. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to work as part of a large team. You should be flexible and approachable with a positive attitude, as this is the ethos of the unit.
The department opened in 2011 and is a purpose-built centre with 4 endoscopy rooms and a dedicated x-ray room, along with a 17 bedded recovery area with step down facilities. We also have a dedicated team of nurses who practise team nursing and rotate to all areas of the department.

We have an active clinical governance group which has been running for over 10 years and which you would be expected to attend and contribute.
We have well attended staff meetings and regular in-house training on a monthly basis as well as external training as identified.
Applicants should ideally have some experience in decontamination and a basic knowledge of endoscopy, but is not essential, as internal training is provided.
