Role:

• You will partner with Network, Infrastructure, Telemetry, and AI teams to automate applications, and processes across the organization.
• Develop and maintain network automation scripts using Python to streamline network operations and configuration management.
• Design, implement, and manage network solutions using Cisco technologies (routers, switches, firewalls) and SDWAN architectures.
• Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams to integrate networking capabilities within OpenShift Kubernetes environments.
• Develop, Engineer, and Architect automation solutions with your extensive Python experience.
• Ensure network security best practices are implemented and maintained, including firewall configurations, VPN, and security group management.
• Mentor junior network and automation engineers and work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 2+ years of experience as a Network Engineer with a focus on Cisco technologies (CCNP certification preferred).
• Strong experience in network automation, particularly with Python.
• Strong Programming skills in Python based frameworks such as Celery, Flask, Django, FAST API etc.
• Extensive experience with containerized platforms - OpenShift Kubernetes
• Experience in SDWAN technologies and architectures.
• Experience in F5 Load Balancers
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Wireshark, and others.
• Understanding of networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, DNS, etc.).
• Experience with network security best practices, including firewalls and VPNs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
