NDT Inspector – Aerospace Components

Leicester, UK | Day Shift | Permanent

We are looking for a skilled NDT Inspector with a passion for precision and aerospace-grade quality. You’ll join a dedicated quality assurance team working on critical aerospace fasteners and forged parts—ensuring top-tier integrity through Non-Destructive Testing and metallurgical inspections.

What You’ll Do:



Carry out mechanical inspections and coordinate with metallurgical labs on batch testing priorities.

Collaborate with the NDT Team Leader to ensure alignment on daily and weekly work plans.

*

Work within AS9100 and NADCAP standards (FPI & MPI), supporting compliance and audit readiness.

*

Engage with exotic alloys (e.g. MP159, Inconel) for flaw detection and surface integrity.

You Bring:

*

Experience in NDT (FPI, MPI), ideally within aerospace or similarly regulated industries.

*

Familiarity with NADCAP requirements and aerospace-grade testing techniques.

*

Excellent communication and the ability to work cross-functionally with production and quality teams.
