About the Role

As a Named Account Executive (AE2) in Salesforce’s Aerospace & Defence vertical, you will oversee a portfolio focused on two flagship customers in the sector. You will drive Salesforce solution adoption across these organisations, concentrating on enhancing operational efficiency, accelerating mission readiness, and ensuring adherence to industry standards.

What You’ll Be Doing
New Business Development: Identify and cultivate strategic opportunities within assigned accounts, crafting tailored solutions that address the specific needs of aerospace and defence organisations.

Strategic Account Management: Cultivate long-term relationships with senior stakeholders, including executives and program leaders, ensuring Salesforce solutions not only align with business objectives but also deliver measurable outcomes.

End-to-End Sales Cycle: Lead the sales process from initial prospecting to deal closure, collaborating closely with internal teams such as Sales Engineers, Partners, and Professional Services to deliver exceptional value to customers.

Account Strategy Development: Develop and execute strategic account plans focused on driving impactful business outcomes, whether through improving fleet management, enhancing logistics operations, or fostering innovation in defence technology.

Industry Engagement: Represent Salesforce at major industry events and forums, showcasing our vision and capabilities in shaping the future of aerospace and defence technology.

What We’re Looking For
Proven Success in SaaS Sales: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in enterprise sales, with a strong track record of revenue growth within the aerospace or defence sectors.

Expertise in Strategic Account Management: Demonstrated ability to navigate complex sales cycles, develop new business opportunities, and build enduring relationships in target-driven environments.

Strong Stakeholder Engagement: Comfortable engaging with C-suite executives, decision-makers, and senior leaders across IT, operations, and business functions to align solutions with customer requirements.

Complex Sales Proficiency: Skilled in managing multi-phase sales processes, navigating intricate procurement procedures, and presenting compelling value propositions to senior leadership.

Passion for Innovation: Enthusiastic about guiding the aerospace and defence sectors through digital transformation, leveraging Salesforce’s innovative solutions to drive significant change.
