Job Title: Metal Polisher
Location: Cheshunt, Hertfordshire
Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week + Overtime
Salary: £13.00 – £16.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate Start Available

    Role Overview

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Metal Polisher to join our client’s growing team in Cheshunt. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in metal polishing and finishing, especially within decorative and architectural applications. If you take pride in precision and craftsmanship, we’d love to hear from you.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Polishing and finishing of decorative aircraft parts, architectural metalwork, and bespoke components

  • Use of grinders, straight polishers, and other polishing equipment to achieve high-quality finishes

  • Handling sculptures, aircraft panels, and custom items with care and attention to detail

  • Managing personal workload and ensuring projects are completed on time

  • Working from technical drawings or verbal instructions where required

  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

    Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in metal polishing and finishing

  • Skilled in using a range of polishing tools and machinery

  • Confidence in handling bespoke and precision items

  • Strong eye for detail and high-quality standards

  • Ability to manage your time effectively and work independently

  • Experience with aerospace or architectural finishes is highly desirable
