The Role:

Here at Survitec, we are currently recruiting for a MES Installation Engineer, to join our Marine Operations team based in Dunmurry.

Key responsibilities for the MES Installation Engineer role include but are not limited to:

·Installing and servicing of marine escape equipment on passenger carrying ships throughout the world.

·Liaising with clients and shipyards on their servicing and installation schedule.

·Ensuring client requirements are met and a first-class level of customer satisfaction is delivered.

·Deliver customer training as required

·Any other appropriate duties as required by a relevant Line Manager in support of business needs.

About You:

Essential Criteria: - Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:

·Demonstrable experience in packing Large Capacity Life rafts OR can demonstrate a good mechanical aptitude.

·An excellent attitude towards Health and Safety in the Workplace.

·A willingness and ability to undertake extensive travel Worldwide.

·Good IT Skills and Proficient in Microsoft Applications.

·A current, full driving license.

Desirable Criteria: - It is desirable that candidates demonstrate the following:
A Time-served fitter.
Being educated to a min NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline.

A comprehensive training programme will be offered to the successful candidate enabling them to achieve certification in the servicing and installation of MES Equipment.

Candidates should be aware that the role is often physically demanding. Candidates should also be aware that this role will require significant/extensive global travel, and it is expected that the successful candidate will demonstrate a fully flexible approach to support the demanding, fast-paced and customer-focused requirements of the MES Dept.
