One of the manufacturers in the FMCG sector are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to work on days at their World Class Manufacturing facility in Scunthorpe.
You will be a strong leader with a strong mechanical technical background & a history of leadership in a very fast moving manufacturing process from a Maintenance standpoint.This is a fantastic opportunity with an industry leader with a true Global presence. 

The right candidate could come from FMCG, Packaging, Food or any fast moving, continuous moving manufacturing environment. 
 
Role: Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Scunthorpe
Salary: £56,000 per annum + bonuses + pension + benefits
 
The key responsibilities of the Maintenance Supervisor role will be:-

The day to day co-ordination and supervising of the Maintenance Team
Mentoring and developing the Maintenance team around
Ensure all equipment is maintained to the highest standard utilising continuous improvement methodology
Maintaining the company 5S standards in all maintenance areas
Ensuring and monitoring best practice from a health and safety standpoint
Ensure that all internal and external maintenance technicians are fully trained & adhering to company policy  The key requirements of the Maintenance Supervisor:-

Ideal a qualification in Engineering (HNC/HND, Time Served in Mechanical engineering). Bias is Mechanical with an appreciation for Electrical aspects. 
Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment FMCG, Packaging, Food ideally. 
Health & Safety Qualification or heavily trained in NEBOSH/IOSH/Machine
Strong communicator with the team, management and all internal stakeholders
Strong coach and mentor to the team. Day to day improvement and development of the team is a massive part of this role.  This is a great opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor with a Global Business in their state of the art facility.
