We are the Mechanical and Electrical section of Integrated Water Services. Better known as IWS M&E. and part of South Staffordshire Plc. IWS M&E provides pump diagnostics and refurbishment, project management, telemetry, chemical dosing and control, instrumentation installation and maintenance, environmental management, plant and infrastructure maintenance and emergency response. These services and cost efficient solutions for water, wastewater and environmental problems are provided 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year anywhere in the UK. About the job
•Installing and maintaining a wide range of mechanical apparatus and associated ancillary equipment.
•Undertaking risk assessment and associated paperwork, where required, of the relevant activities to ensure a suitable and effective safe system of work.
•Assisting management in the programming of scheduled maintenance aligned to company requirements.
•Installing and maintaining of water related plants, pipework and associated control equipment.
•Liaising with management and general operatives to ascertain any repair and maintenance requirement that arise or need specific prioritisation
About the successful applicant
•Level 3 qualification/equivalent or above in Mechanical Maintenance.
•Have the ability to read and translate schematic and technical drawings.
•Experience of working in the utility sector would be an advantage
•Ability to problem solve and diagnose faults on machinery and equipment.
•A full driving licence and there will be an element of working away with the role as and when required
