Morson Talent are currently seeking a Materials Controller to join our large aerospace client based in Basildon. This will be working on a competitive contracting basis inside IR35, and is also a  6 months Contract. Job Purpose – As an Operations Material Controller, you will control the flow of material within the Production environment in a timeframe that supports the Master Production Schedule (MPS)Key Accountabilities:Organising and issuing materials to the manufacturing area.Maintaining traceability of all materials and finished goods produced.Contributing to the creation and update of the Master production ScheduleOrganising the return to vendor of faulty or incorrect materialsWorking with engineers to ensure build standard integrity is maintained.Generating and managing works orders for new build and repair activities.Ensuring material is available in line with the master production schedule.Generation of shipping documentationBooking of UK and export shipments via freight forwarders/couriersOrganising the processing of customer repairsMonitoring of shelf life productControl and reporting of Government furnished assetsLiaising with external suppliers and customersManagement inventorySAP system issue resolutionRequired –No Experience is required as we have a robust training and development package which will take you through all aspects of the Material Management process and delivers what is expected...
