Maritime Service Engineer - Satcoms, IT & Navigation Systems

We’re seeking skilled Maritime Service Engineer to deliver world-class solutions across satellite communications, IT infrastructure, and navigation systems. Whether working independently or as part of a collaborative team, you’ll benefit from continuous training, expert technical support, and clear paths for career progression.

Responsibilities

  • Perform VDR Annual Performance Tests (APTs) and radio surveys to ensure regulatory compliance and operational reliability.

  • Install, maintain, and repair GMDSS equipment, ensuring alignment with maritime safety standards.

  • Handle installation and servicing of cutting-edge navigation systems and VSAT satellite broadband technologies.

  • Execute retrofit projects, including full bridge system installations and large-scale system integrations.

  • Deliver outstanding technical service to a broad portfolio of maritime clients.

    What We’re Looking For

  • HNC, ONC, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent in engineering, electronics, or IT.

  • Strong commercial background as a Marine Service Engineer and expertise in electronic/electrical systems.

  • GMDSS Radio Operator/Maintainer License would be ideal but not essential

  • Full driving licence and valid passport.

  • Ability to pass a marine/offshore medical examination.

  • Solid understanding of satellite communications, navigation technologies, and electrical engineering principles.
