Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the production team, ensuring operational efficiency and achievement of KPIs.
Oversee production scheduling, capacity planning, and resource allocation to meet customer demand.
Drive on-time delivery (OTIF) performance, ensuring orders are completed on schedule and within budget.
Implement 5S, Six Sigma, and KAIZEN methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards within an aerospace manufacturing environment.
Monitor and optimise productivity rates, quality control processes, and cost efficiencies.
Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to streamline production processes.
Lead, develop, and motivate a high-performing production team, ensuring training and progression opportunities.
Oversee facility maintenance and health & safety regulations.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in a Manufacturing/Production Manager role within the aerospace sector.
HNC/HND (or higher) in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering - an apprenticeship is a plus!
Lean manufacturing expertise, including 5S, Six Sigma, and KAIZEN methodologies.
Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Materials Science.
