A Manufacturing Engineer is needed for a critical role in driving production efficiency and optimisation in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment. The individual will be expected to utilise their engineering expertise to streamline processes, implement new technology, and ensure high-quality production.

Description

Work closely with our Machine shop team to improve process flow and NPI
Drive production efficiency and quality through process improvements and lean manufacturing principles.
Implement new technologies and equipment to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
Collaborate cross-functionally to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and develop effective solutions.
Prepare and present technical reports to inform management and stakeholders on production progress and challenges.
Develop and manage project budgets and timelines to ensure targets are met.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the manufacturing environment.
Provide technical training and guidance to production staff.
Participate in continuous professional development activities to stay abreast of industry trends and advancements.Profile

A successful Manufacturing Engineer should have:

A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in a similar role within the Industrial / Manufacturing sector.
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement techniques.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
A solid understanding of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.Job Offer

£45,00 and £50,000 - depending on skills and experience.
