This role is located in Fareham, Hampshire. Working with a global leader in fuel systems for fixed and rotary-wing aircraft. Their facility boasts state-of-the-art testing capabilities, enabling them to deliver high-quality, fully integrated solutions.

The Role
We are seeking a passionate Manufacturing Engineer to join their Industry 4.0 M.E. Department, providing innovative support across the Fareham site. This role involves driving process improvements through advanced technologies while ensuring production schedules, quality standards, cost goals, and safety targets are met.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with production teams to resolve issues, ensuring seamless customer deliveries.
Execute and support business cases for Industry 4.0 opportunities, aligning with corporate tools and strategies.
Enhance manufacturing processes to deliver high-quality, compliant products.
Manage industrial networks (OT) and facilitate data integration with IT networks.
Drive machine connectivity and data acquisition activities, fostering data-driven operations.
Implement robust documentation and adhere to environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Act as a liaison with divisional Industry 4.0 teams to implement approved technologies.Qualifications & Skills

Proficiency in manufacturing methodologies: PFMEA, PPAP, value stream mapping, SOP creation.
Hands-on experience with microcontrollers, safety-critical applications, and Additive Manufacturing.
Familiarity with BOM audits, laser part marking, and engineering drawings.
Strong background in supply chain support and continuous improvement initiatives.
Expertise in extracting data from PLCs, using OPC, SQL, and Kepware servers for MES interfaces.
Experience developing specifications for equipment and managing capital projects.
Lean, Six Sigma, and Pro Launch expertise, with skills in process mapping, failure analysis, and control planning.What They Offer
