NexGen Consultancy LTD are currently recruiting for Manual Operators for a well prestiged motorsport manufacturer

As a Manual Operator, you will support our manufacturing team in producing components for our innovative propulsion solutions.

The successful candidate will be expected to work alternating late and early shifts.

Week 1

Monday to Thursday: 06:00 to 14:00

Friday: 06:00 to 13:00

Week 2

Monday to Thursday: 14:00 to 22:00

Friday: 13:00 to 20:00

The Role:

  • Support the manufacturing of components by loading line, finishing component parts, washing, packing and despatch preparation to customer specification. This position is a pair of eyes to view the part before the customer and have the ability to prevent a sub-standard part leaving.

  • Complete operations appropriate to the skills contained in the training matrix to the documentation provided and to the times allocated.

  • Critical review of the parts and documentation, prior to despatch with responsibility to identify substandard parts by questioning, reviewing and resolving issues to adhere to the documented standards.

  • Package parts to the documented standard.

  • Completion of the responsibilities to the agreed delivery date and time.

  • The ideal candidate for this position will be a good team player with excellent communication skills and with a high attention to detail.

  • A forward-thinking individual, who is able to display an aptitude for improvement, cleanliness and structured approach to their working environment.

  • Willing to learn new skills and be flexible and versatile in their working day.

  • Consider the health and safety, environmental and energy impact of all activities.

  • Support the Company’s compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018, following policy and best practice.

  • Undertake any other duties or activities reasonably requested in order to meet departmental or company goals.

    Candidate Profile:

    The ideal person will hold the below skills and experience:

  • Minimum 3 years engineering workshop experience.

  • Able to work from clear engineering work instructions.

  • Excellent time keeping.

  • Mass production work experience.
