Pay Rate:£45,000 - £50,000 Depending on experience

Shift:(Day Shift, No Unsociable Hours) Monday-Friday 07:30 am - 17:15 pm, 9 day working fortnight, every other Tuesday off.

MDE is recruiting a Lead Maintenance Technician for our client, a leading automotive manufacturer specializing in high-quality gearboxes and transmitters. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to work on a brand-new site equipped with state-of-the-art automated systems. If you have experience in manufacturing maintenance and a proactive attitude, we’d love to hear from you!

Job Details for Maintenance Technician:

  • Hours: 07:30 am - 5:15 pm Monday to Friday, with every other Tuesday Off
  • Overtime available

Key Responsibilities for Maintenance Technician:

  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machinery and robotic systems to minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and resolve equipment issues promptly to maintain production flow.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Carry out scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance to prevent production delays.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and company standards in all maintenance activities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in maintenance within a manufacturing setting (experience in aerospace engineering/manufacturing is a plus but not required).
