About Our Client

An industry award winning, premium designer and manufacturer of First and Business Class seating and technology.

Our client interfaces with both the world's biggest airlines and air framers alike, with the largest seats portfolio of all seats suppliers. One day you could be liaising with one of the world's largest air framers, and the next, some of the biggest airline brands around the world!

In the UK, our client specialises solely in the First Class and Business Class seating markets for wide body aircraft, with industrial and engineering teams in Cwmbran and Newport, Wales and Brackley, England.

Job Description

Process Analysis and Improvement:

Conduct detailed analysis of current logistics processes and systems to identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement optimised logistics processes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs. Utilise lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline processes and eliminate waste. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to incorporate into logistics strategies.

Project Management:

Lead and manage logistics process improvement projects from conception through to implementation. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Collect and analyse data to evaluate the performance of logistics operations. Develop metrics and KPIs to monitor and report on the effectiveness of logistics processes. Present findings and recommendations to senior management.

Technology Integration:

Evaluate and implement new logistics technologies and software to improve process efficiency. Work closely with IT and other departments to integrate new systems and ensure seamless operation.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure all logistics processes comply with industry regulations and company policies. Promote a culture of safety and ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols.

The Successful Applicant

Previous experience in:

Logistics warehouse processes. Continuous improvement. Change management. Inventory management.
