They are seeking a Lead Firmware/Software Engineer to take a pivotal role in shaping the development of their cutting-edge implantable medical devices. This position offers a unique chance to experience the full lifecycle of medical device development, from prototype creation to clinical trials, and eventually to market.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leading the development of firmware for next-generation implantable medical devices.
  • Documenting requirements, specifications, and design to support regulatory certification (Software Safety Class C).
  • Driving software development in compliance with ISO 13485 and IEC 62304 standards.
  • Collaborating with a passionate team to bring their transformative technology from the bench to clinical application


What You’ll Need:

  • Extensive experience with C and C++ development.
  • Proficiency in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to delivery, within a highly regulated environment. (Medical, Aerospace, Automotive ect)
  • Hands-on experience with microcontroller development, ideally PIC32 & PIC16
