Summary

SPS Technologies are working in partnership as they look to increase their team. Due to retirement of long-standing employees and a large aerospace contract, we are looking for Prep Technician to join their team on a permanent basis. You will be working on the double day shifts, Mornings and afternoon shits. Training will be on stander days shifts.

The Job :

Metallurgical samples preparation
Maintain and operate laboratory preparation equipment
Keep equipment in a clean and serviceable condition and ensure the safe removal of waste
Consumables stock control
Manual handling requirement including some heavy lifting work
Other laboratory duties as requiredThe candidate :

Knowledge engineering
Previous preparation experience preferred
Ability to communicate decisions & problems
Ability to work un-supervised in areas of proficiency
Well organised and efficient
Ability to learn new and relevant skills Apply :
