We now have an opening for a Lab and Test Resource Coordinator to work within the Engineering team providing support to the Test & Qualification team.

Primary Responsibilities:

Enabling engineering in product development and qualification by providing a range of day-to-day services to support the advancement of our product, Labs, and resources. Responsibilities here include:

Maintaining 5S standards within the Engineering labs. Ensure that the test equipment is maintained and calibrated. Assign and maintain records of the lab and test resource use. Work with EH&S to ensure we maintain current safety standards. Maintain and provide evidence of quality compliance standards when required. Capture and ensure the current resource management systems are up to date and are being updated correctly. Support audits and provide traceability of resource. Ensure users of the resource are trained both in functionality and safety Developing and maintaining in house procedures. Driving continuous improvement of capabilities, knowledge, and processes within the laboratory. Maintaining and developing your skills and those of others who will provide support to the laboratory. Provide support in the traceability of product with the help of our product management team.

Basic Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have experience of working within a fast paced and agile environment with a range of adaptable skills, capable of readily working alone or as part of a team The role will involve working individually as well as in a team so excellent organisational skills and the ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation is important You will be enthusiastic and be able to provide an intelligent Engineering service to the project teams and Engineering community. This role requires attention to detail, practical skills and the ability to use your knowledge, skills and observations to support the Engineering teams through the work you carry out.  Ideally the candidate will have previous knowledge of lab base test equipment and its use, the applicant should also have a Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of tools: Excel, Power point and Word, knowledge of MS Access is also beneficial as many of our management tools are MS Access databases.  The candidate will ideally be educated to HNC level or they can demonstrate through experience the knowledge and skills required
