A truly excellent position has arisen within this leading global manufacturer of automated machining centres for a Junior Field Service Engineer to cover the Swindon, Reading, Newbury, Banbury, Slough and surrounding areas.
THE ROLE
Reporting into the UK Engineering Manager, it is the role of the Field Service Engineer to maintain and service a range of equipment and machinery. You will be based from home, and you could live in the Swindon, Reading, Banbury, Oxford, Newbury or surrounding areas. You will work on automated machinery used in the F1, Aerospace and precision engineering industries.
THE PERSON
In order to succeed in the role of Junior Service Engineer you will need good electro-mechanical maintenance skills along a technical qualification such as an ONC/HNC e.t.c. in Electrica;, electronic or mechanical engineering. You will need to be self motivated, trustworthy and organised. Successful applicants will have experience of working in a maintenance, service, commissioning or similar technical role.
