IRS, Satellite and AV Engineer

Travel around the Midlands area

  • Full time, permanent
  • OTE IRO £40,000 per annum depending on experience

The Role

We're looking for a passionateIRS, Satellite and AV Engineerto join our growing team. This is a hands-on field-based position that requires UK-wide travel, including occasional overnight stays (fully expensed). A fully equipped company vehicle is provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain AV, IRS, SMATV, and MATV systems at client sites
  • Ensure all jobs are completed on time, to a high standard and within budget
  • Deliver outstanding customer service for high-profile clients
  • Accurately complete job reports and client paperwork using platforms like iAuditor
  • Ensure compliance with Quality and Health & Safety standards
  • Communicate clearly with clients, colleagues, and management
  • Supervise assistant engineers on site where required

The Ideal Candidate

About

You'll be an experienced engineer with solid knowledge of AV and broadcast systems, who's comfortable working in varied settings and confident in managing on-site tasks independently. A proactive attitude and a flexible approach to work are key. About you:

  • Proven experience with AV, IRS, SMATV, and MATV systems
  • Knowledge of VSAT, IPTV & Fibre systems is advantageous
  • Understanding of IP and router configurations beneficial
  • Full UK driving licence is essential
  • Health & Safety awareness
  • Comfortable working at height (training provided)
