Innovation Business Partner

About the role:
BSI is expanding investment in Innovation, both in terms of enabling and futureproofing existing key BSI business solutions, as well as radical innovation and new solutions that extend trust, resilience, and sustainability. BSI is seeking multiple innovation business partners across several BSI business streams - who will drive and integrate innovation solutions within those streams.
These partners will enable the deployment of client-facing Innovation solutions and improvements that will enhance the future strategy of each stream through the development of new revenue opportunities and other value. These solutions will typically leverage emerging technologies and other approaches and improvements enabled by the broader BSI innovation function and ecosystem. The initiatives will typically involve close collaboration with internal BSI stakeholders and external technology partners.
Responsibilities
Enable positive engagement with BSI clients in relation to innovation and innovation opportunities. Drive the core innovation agenda for the designated BSI stream, working with key stream stakeholders to identify, prioritise and shape key strategic initiatives that will futureproof that stream. Enable identification and prioritisation of new ideas with positive change impact across the stream and wider BSI business. Support and promote Innovation solutions to clients within the stream. Integrate and embed developed Innovation solutions within Stream business operations, sales and marketing programs. Be able to lead and “run with” key innovation initiatives derived from new and existing ideas and be able to demonstrate value to the business and clients from them (revenues + other categories of value addition) - acting as a strong innovation co-ordinator for the stream. Lead understanding of how targeted BSI innovation solutions and related emerging technology can be brought to bear to support new client-facing solutions and improvements within that stream. Identify, enable, and nurture other innovators and changemakers within that stream with ideas and solutions of relevance to BSI's innovation agenda and business strategy. Manage and maintain senior stakeholder relationships between the Innovation team and the stream leadership.
To be successful in the role, you will have:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a commercial, science, or technology-related field or equivalent professional experience Extensive experience/exposure to one or more of the following areas: Stream operations, Innovation, project/program management, technology consulting Experience in working and delivering production projects with a team Problem solver with a passion for solving a diverse set of tasks Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability and a proven track record of success in delivering client services in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Strong operational skills and attention to detail; ability to work on different projects and deliver high-quality deliverables in committed time frames. Demonstrated exposure and experience with technology initiatives.
