Our client is a long-established, respected name in aerospace component maintenance. They’re seeking an Inflatables Fitter to join their skilled team, working on vital aircraft safety equipment such as emergency slides and life rafts. This is your opportunity to work on life-saving systems in a clean, well-equipped workshop with a collaborative team atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Disassemble, test, and repair aircraft safety equipment (slides, rafts, sub-components)
  • Reassemble to exact specifications using CMMs/OHMs and OEM packing instructions
  • Follow detailed compliance procedures and documentation
  • Ensure top-tier workmanship while meeting safety and quality standards
    What we’re looking for:
  • GCSE Maths & English (or equivalent)
  • Previous engineering/workshop experience is desirable
  • Familiarity with compliance manuals and MRO procedures
  • Prior experience with aircraft safety equipment packing/repair is advantageous
  • Positive attitude, reliable team player with great attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with strong organisational skills
  • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
