Key responsibilities include maximising sales bymaintaining high standards of display and layout in the shop andshop windows, ensuring that stock density is maintained, regularrotation of stock is carried out and that maximum realistic pricesare obtained on donated items, in accordance with charityguidelines, as well as Bought in Goods. Gift aid is a vital sourceof income from donated goods and you should ensure that this ismaximized when dealing with customers and donors, ensuring thatexcellent customer service is provided at all times. You shouldalso ensure that high standards of cleanliness are maintainedthroughout the shop including the sales floor, stock processingarea, offices and communal areas.
