Holt Executive are actively partnered with a leading innovator in navigation and robotics for autonomous systems and sensing solutions, to support with a critical hire for aSenior Channel Development/Strategy Manager – EMEA.
We are seeking a dynamic a dynamicSenior Channel Development/Strategy Manager – EMEAto drive global distribution/ channel strategy. This role is integral to cultivating customer relationships, driving sales through partners, expanding presence, build on brand awareness, and securing new strategic accounts across the region.
You will bring expertise in the APNT industry, strong communication skills, and a proven track record in channel sales management.
Key Responsibilities below for the Senior Channel Development/Strategy Manager – EMEA:
Channel Strategy Development:
- Create and execute a channel sales strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Identify and onboard potential channel partners, including distributors, resellers, and technology partners.
- Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitors to optimize channel strategies.
Channel Partner Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key channel partners.
- Oversee onboarding, training, and development of partners to ensure successful promotion and solution sales.
- Serve as the primary contact for channel-related matters, offering prompt support and resolution.
Sales Growth & Revenue Generation:
- Drive revenue growth by achieving and exceeding sales targets through channel partners.
- Monitor and analyse channel performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with partners on business plans and conduct regular performance reviews to ensure aligned with business goals.
Sales Enablement & Training:
- Provide sales training, technical guidance, and product knowledge to channel partners.
- Partner with marketing and product teams to develop sales tools and promotional materials.
- Ensure partners are updated on product features, benefits, and industry trends.
Forecasting & Reporting:
- Deliver accurate sales forecasts and activity reports to senior management.
- Maintain insights into the sales pipeline and partner performance metrics.
- Utilize CRM tools to manage partner accounts and track opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with GTM leaders and internal teams (R&D, Marketing, Product, Customer Support), playing a fundamental role in shaping the GTM strategy, to align channel sales efforts with overall company strategy.
- Incorporate partner feedback into product development and value proposition improvements.
- Partner with marketing to execute channel-focused campaigns and events.
Key experience & qualifications for the Senior Channel Development/Strategy Manager – EMEA:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; MBA is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Over 10 years of experience in channel sales, partner management, or business development ideally within the APNT or technology sectors.
- Proven success in consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets in a channel sales environment.
- In-depth knowledge of the APNT industry, including market dynamics, key players, and emerging trends.
- Willingness to travel for partner meetings and industry events.
- Domain experience in Aerospace, Defense, Surveying, Autonomous Vehicles/Robotics, and Maritime/Subsea markets is highly beneficial.
