Role: HIAB HGV class 2 driver

Location: Bodmin


Are you an experienced HGV class 2 HGV driver looking for full time work in mid Cornwall? We are currently looking for a HIAB qualified driver to help deliver plant and machinery all over the region, if this sounds like the role for you, apply today!


About the job.

Pay is will be £30,000 per annum.


Full time work, Monday – Friday, starting at 07:30.
Pension contribution & holiday accrual.
Operating a lorry-mounted crane, delivering and collecting plant and machinery all over Devon and Cornwall.
Basic vehicle maintenance/ensuring roadworthiness and safety of vehicle (carry out daily vehicle checks in accordance with Group procedures)
Check plant against paperwork received from hire desk prior to delivery
Safe loading/unloading of all plant and equipment onto/from GAP vehicles (strapping/chaining/roping)
Tag up damaged machines

Job requirements.

A full and valid Category C (Class 2) licence with an in date CPC and digi cards are required with no more than 6 points & no DR, DD or IN convictions for insurance purposes.


Previous experience with class 2 delivery driving would be advantageous.
Valid, in-date HIAB qualification.
