🚛 HGV Driver / Porter – Full-Time Permanent Role

đź’· ÂŁ15.00 per hour (PAYE)

🕒 Start Date: Immediate | Monday to Friday | 08:00 – 17:00


Driver Hire Inverness is offering a fantastic opportunity for an HGV Driver / Porter to join a well-established removals and logistics team on a full-time permanent basis. This is a hands-on role combining professional driving with removals and porter duties. Previous experience is a bonus, but full training will be provided.


This role is ideal for someone who is physically fit, customer-focused, and looking to grow within a supportive team. Occasional overtime and nights away may be required.

Occasional Saturday overtime, on-call, and nights away
Excellent PAYE rates: ÂŁ15.00 per hour

📦 Key Responsibilities:

Driving HGV vehicles for removals and deliveries


Loading and unloading vehicles/storage containers with household or business contents
Dismantling and reassembling furniture
Packing fragile and non-fragile items
Safely transporting goods to and from customer locations
Providing excellent customer service at all times
Assisting with general warehouse duties
Conducting routine vehicle checks and reporting maintenance issues
Adhering to safety protocols and company procedures

Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Licence


CPC Card and Digital Tacho Card
Physically fit and capable of manual handling
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Forklift experience (advantageous but not essential)
