🚛 HGV Class 2 Driver – Flour Deliveries | Ad-Hoc Shifts

Driver Hire Edinburgh City is recruiting an HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Driver to support a local flour distribution company with deliveries across Edinburgh and nearby areas.


This is an ad-hoc position, ideal for experienced drivers seeking flexible work and the opportunity to pick up extra shifts across different contracts.

đź’° Pay Rates:


With holiday pay included:


ÂŁ15.69 per hour (basic)




ÂŁ20.91 per hour (overtime)


With holiday pay accrued separately:


ÂŁ14.00 per hour (basic)




ÂŁ18.66 per hour (overtime)


đźšš Key Responsibilities:


Deliver flour to bakeries and wholesale customers using a Class 2 vehicle




Work with a driver’s mate – frequent manual handling and heavy lifting required




Carry out daily vehicle checks and complete delivery documentation




Maintain a safe, professional, and customer-focused approach throughout your shift


✅ What You’ll Need:


Valid HGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence (held for at least 12 months)




CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card




A good level of physical fitness – this is a hands-on role




Reliability, flexibility, and a positive attitude
