HGV Class 2 Driver

Location: Barnsley, South Yorkshire

Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday


Salary: £15.30 basic – £17.14 advanced holiday pay


Start Date: Immediate Start – ongoing

About the role:


We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for an ongoing position located in Barnsley. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of our high-quality furniture products to a variety of customers, including independent retailers, housing developers, and merchants.


Key responsibilities:

Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle


Load, transport, and deliver goods to customers on schedule
Maintain accurate delivery documentation
Conduct vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues
Provide excellent customer service at all times

What we are looking for:

Valid Class 2 driving license


Minimum 1 years’ experience driving a Class 2
Valid CPC and Tacho Card
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Manual handling of goods
