                                                                              Class 2 Drivers for Day work in Stoke-On-Trent. 

                                                                   MONDAY TO FRIDAY WORK - PLUS OVERTIME IF REQUIRED.  

                                                                                 Temp to Perm roles on offer to the right driver.

Role and Responsibilities


  • Driving a 18 tonne curtainside on various contracts in Stoke. 
  • Pallet line roles, delivery and collection of palletised goods using an electric pump truck. 
  • Transport goods and materials to designated clients in a safe and timely manner.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections before and after each trip.
  • Comply with all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of driving hours and working time directive (WTD).
  • Report any incidents or accidents to the client.
  • Keep accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
  • Provide excellent customer service.


Requirements:


  • HGV Class 2 licence.
  • Valid CPC and Tacho card.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Maximum of 6 penalty points. No DR or DD Offences.
  • Previous experience in a similar role would be preferred but not essential.


Working Hours and Pay:


  • Monday to Friday.
  • Day shifts.
  • £14.25 - £20.25 per hour.
  • Holiday pay on top of hourly rate.
