Vickerstock are working in partnership with a civil and structural engineering firm on the appointment of a Health & Safety Coordinator.

As a Health & Safety Coordinator, you will prepare documentation as part of the Principal Designer duties in accordance with the CDM Regulations, reviewing Health & Safety information from Designers and Contractors with occasional site Health & Safety inspections.

In your new role:

Assist in the delivery of the Principal Designer role in accordance with the CDM Regulations Liaise with Design Team Members, Contractors, Clients Provide CDM and H&S advice to project team members Prepare Pre-Construction Information and H&S Files Review Contractors' Construction Phase Plans Represent the company at Design Team / Client meetings Complete site H&S inspections

What you will need to succeed:

Relevant experience in a similar role NEBOSH General or Construction certification Awareness of Health & Safety / CDM legislation Knowledge and experience of CDM regulations Excellent oral and written communication skills IT and numeracy skills (MS Office) Full clean driving license and access to transport

Desirable (it would be great if you have this, but don't worry if you don't):

Membership of accredited industry body (IOSH) NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent Civil or Structural Engineering background
