Head of Vehicle Software & Controls - Motorsport

£75 per hour limited company rate

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to play a key part in disrupting the market! You will help develop and build the most modern, durable and ADVENTUROUS two-wheel vehicle yet. You will have full reign to use all your creativeness and get the chance to work for one of the most ambitious start-ups the automotive industry has seen.

The business is heavily backed by a full list of global investors. They share the vision of the business and share the core adventurous values! Either contract or permanent employment will be considered here, as long as the company hire the most talented engineers out there.

The role;
You will be at the forefront of developing vehicle architecture for extended range hybrid powertrain. Your day to day will include software development, calibration and validation of specialist control systems. As you will be the first person in the software and controls team, you will also need to be hands on, carrying out testing of models & control systems on test rigs as well as simulation work using MATLAB / Simulink.

What we need from you;

Calibration and validation of hybrid / EV powertrains using open source ECU
Experienced using CANbus, CANape, ETA INCA, MATLAB/Simulink, SIL/HIL/MIL testing
Knowledge of hybrid / electric propulsion systems
Happy to do all the software development work as well has being hands on!
