    About The Role
    As the Head of Supply Chain, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimise supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
    You will be pivotal in aligning strategy with operational excellence across demand planning, S&OP, supplier performance, and cost optimisation.
    Other duties include:
  • Providing leadership and guidance to a team of up to 8 direct reports and over 40+ indirect staff across Procurement, Planning and Logistics.
  • Ensuring department compliance.
  • Defining and implementing new processes.
  • Driving transformation and change across the UK Supply chain function.
  • Monitoring supply chain performance and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Analysing data and reports to track KPIs and identify trends.
  • Managing any risks to the supply chain.
  • Working closely with other functions including Production, Sales and Finance.
    About You
    The successful candidate MUST be a process driven change manager with extensive experience in the field of Supply Chain Management, gained within a global manufacturer.
    A related education or qualifications in the areas of Supply Chain Management would be highly beneficial but not essential.
    A full driving license is needed. Other key skills include:
  • Strong leadership with proven success managing large teams (indirectly 30+).
  • Willingness to travel in the Northwest when needed.
  • Demonstratable examples of process improvements.
  • Results driven.
  • Rights to work in the UK. (Sponsorship is not offered)
  • Self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate, inspire and influence others.
  • A trustworthy, diplomatic and empathetic nature.
