Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians and the workshop manager in the daily operations of the harness workshop.
• Support the assembly of complex, first-time builds and prototypes.
• Select and prepare lineside stock parts required for assembly.
• Identify and report any build-related issues, deviations, and continuous improvement opportunities to your line manager.
• Provide guidance and advice to trainee technicians.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping regarding work area, documentation, tools, and products.
• Perform line inspections.
• Fulfill any duties required by the company to ensure quality products and services are delivered to customers on time and in full.
• Follow all procedures and processes to meet the day-to-day requirements of the business, as well as quality and health and safety standards.
• Achieve continuity of agreed deadlines through flexible working patterns.
• Actively participate in training activities provided by the company to ensure all high-quality build standards are met and continuously improved.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Previous experience with OEM or System 25 harnesses (motorsport/aerospace) is a mandatory requirement.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings is a mandatory requirement.
• Experience with Cirris or other electrical harness testing software is desired, but not mandatory.
